Arya Sinulingga challenges netizens to find 240 players for Women’s League

Arya Sinulingga, member of PSSI Executive Committee, responds to public pressure regarding Women’s League formation by challenging netizens to find 200-240 quality players.

Through social media post, Sinulingga highlights the imbalance between netizens’ ease in proposing naturalized players and the difficulty in finding local talent for Women’s League.

“Why are there so many proposals for players to be naturalized from netizens? Many names are even suggested without being requested by the federation. But why is it so difficult to find 200-240 female players of professional caliber?”

PSSI is not idle in efforts to establish Women’s League — the federation has been organizing various local tournaments and youth competitions over the past two years to develop Indonesian women’s football talent.

“For these 2 years, we have been working to produce 200-240 professional female players by building local competitions and youth competitions, and it’s very difficult and takes time”
