Despite the success and admiration for their recent triumph at ESL One Raleigh 2025, Parivision has faced criticism from some viewers and Dota 2 professionals over their unconventional behavior during matches. Among them is former North American pro player Artour “Arteezy” Babaev.

Back then, the Ukrainian dark horse team was known for repeatedly engaging in indiscriminate trash talk with other participants, including fan-favorites like Team Liquid and Team Spirit.

During their lower bracket playoff match against Liquid, for instance, Parivision’s young player Alan “satanic” Gallyamov typed “you can’t beat satanic guys” in all-chat—a line that quickly became a popular meme. His teammate Dmitri “DM” Dorokhin further fueled the situation by adding to the banter.

Though Parivision won the match, some viewers argued their actions violated sportsmanship, calling the team overly cocky. Arteezy, who witnessed the incident, highlighted that moment and took it to his live stream, called it a bad behavior:

“I don’t know, dude. I don’t really agree with this all chat. It feels kinda f**ked up. The thing is, you’re going to walk up to this guy and shake his hand afterwards, and you’re going to pretend this was a joke. I literally wouldn’t shake this guy’s hand.”

On the other hand, some Dota 2 community members enjoyed the drama, arguing that such antics intensify the competitive atmosphere between top-tier teams with their hardcore fan bases.
