According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal has entered the competition to sign Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, who is also being pursued by Liverpool, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and AC Milan.

The 19-year-old defender—capable of playing both as a left-back and center-back—has impressed since making his debut two years ago. Only Ryan Gravenberch and Clarence Seedorf were younger when making their first appearances for Ajax.

Hato has already accumulated over 60 Eredivisie appearances and earned six caps with the Netherlands national team. Under coach Francesco Farioli, he has primarily been deployed as a left-back.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid is reportedly showing interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero. The Argentine center-back remains under contract until 2027, but this summer could be a defining moment for his club future.

Jorrel Hato’s Key Stats:

  • Height: 183 cm

  • Positions: Left-back, center-back

  • Netherlands national team caps: 6

  • Eredivisie appearances: 60+

Hato is often compared to Jurrien Timber due to his versatility in transitioning from center-back to full-back. His speed, athleticism, and vision make him an ideal fit for the modern left-back role. As the summer transfer window approaches, top European clubs are closely monitoring his development.
