Arsenal Face Obstacles in Viktor Gyokeres Transfer Negotiations

Despite reaching personal terms with Viktor Gyokeres, Arsenal continues to face challenges in transfer negotiations with Sporting CP for the summer 2025 transfer window.

The payment structure remains the main obstacle — Sporting CP demands a base transfer fee of €70 million plus €10 million in bonuses, while Arsenal offers €65 million plus €15 million in add-ons.

Although the total transfer value reaches €80 million for both proposals, the Portuguese club considers Arsenal’s initial offer too low — however, recent talks between the clubs have shown positive developments.

The Swedish national team striker has already expressed his desire to join the North London team — Arsenal has also prepared two alternative targets if this transfer fails to materialize.
