Arsenal Depart for Asian Preseason Tour Without Viktor Gyökeres

Arsenal have begun their Asian preseason journey without Viktor Gyökeres — the striker who remains in transfer negotiations with Sporting CP. The North London team departed for Singapore to start their two-week tour.

According to ESPN, Arsenal have agreed to an initial fee of around €63 million with an additional €10 million in bonuses for Gyökeres, though specific terms are still under discussion.

The 30-man traveling squad includes several new recruits:

• Kepa Arrizabalaga
• Martín Zubimendi
• Christian Nørgaard

Noni Madueke — who just joined yesterday from Chelsea — is not part of the traveling party due to his involvement in the Club World Cup with his former club. Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus is also absent following his knee surgery earlier this year.

Arsenal will face AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore, before meeting Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong to conclude their preseason tour.
