Arsenal Complete Signing of Young Valencia Defender Cristhian Mosquera

Cristhian Mosquera has officially joined Arsenal from Valencia for an initial transfer fee of €15 million, according to ESPN.

The 21-year-old defender has signed a five-year contract until June 2030 with a 12-month extension option. The transfer fee could rise to €20 million if performance targets are met.

Arsenal’s total spending now reaches approximately £140 million. Sporting director Andrea Berta led negotiations with involvement from manager Mikel Arteta.

The player who made 90 appearances for Valencia has flown to Singapore to join Arsenal’s squad for their Asian tour. Arsenal considers Mosquera one of Europe’s top young defensive talents capable of playing across the backline.
