Arsenal Begin Transfer Negotiations for Christian Nørgaard from Brentford

According to ESPN, Arsenal have initiated discussions with Brentford regarding the transfer of Christian Nørgaard — the midfielder emerging as a surprise target for the Gunners’ midfield.

This situation arises as Arsenal face the possibility of losing two experienced midfielders — Jorginho who has joined Flamengo and Thomas Partey who remains in contract extension negotiations.

While Mikel Arteta wishes to retain Partey, a new contract agreement remains elusive due to wage issues. If the situation remains unchanged, the Ghanaian player will leave the club as a free agent next week.
