Arsenal at Risk of Failing to Sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP

According to A Bola, Viktor Gyokeres’s transfer to Arsenal is in a critical situation — negotiations with Sporting CP have hit serious obstacles.

The Swedish striker agreed to a five-year contract with Arsenal a few days ago, but an agreement between the clubs remains elusive.

“Gyokeres has reached total agreement with Arsenal and informed Sporting about his desire to join AFC,” transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated.

“There is no intention to discuss other options, only wanting to proceed with Arsenal,” he added.

Although the player is only interested in moving to London, the transfer situation now depends on the outcome of negotiations between Arsenal and Sporting CP that have yet to find common ground.
