Arsenal approach Madueke, Chelsea still ready to play him in Club World Cup

According to ESPN, Arsenal is continuing negotiations with Chelsea to acquire Noni Madueke with a transfer value reaching €50 million.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca — confirms that Madueke remains available for tomorrow’s Club World Cup semifinal against Fluminense.

“Personally I see the same situation as before the Palmeiras game, and we gave him 30 minutes with a very good performance,” said Maresca. “I have no doubts if we need Noni, he will help the team. I understand when there’s noise around a player, it’s difficult to deal with.”

The 22-year-old winger joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven about two and a half years ago for €35 million — featuring regularly last season with 32 appearances in the Premier League.
