Arsenal and Tottenham Battle for Eberechi Eze’s Signature

Arsenal’s sporting director has conducted talks with Eberechi Eze’s Crystal Palace representatives — marking an escalation in their competition with Tottenham Hotspur for the England international’s signature.

Eze’s brilliant performance last season, including the winning goal against Manchester City in the FA Cup final — has made him a prime target for both London clubs.

Crystal Palace has set a £68 million release clause for the 26-year-old player. While Spurs have long targeted Eze, Arsenal now appears more determined in their pursuit.

In other transfer developments, Liverpool has set a €65 million plus €5 million bonus price for Darwin Núñez — far above Napoli’s offer of just €5 million for the striker who only scored four league goals last season.
