Nostalgia and pride inspire Arema FC’s latest home and away uniforms…

JAKARTA, 7 Juli 2025 – Arema FC has officially launched its new match uniforms for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 Indonesia season, blending modern comfort with strong historical symbolism that pays tribute to iconic moments in the club’s legacy.

Developed in collaboration with local apparel brand Etams Indonesia, the fresh design is not only made for performance on the pitch but also crafted to rekindle the memories of Aremania, the club’s loyal supporters.

“We present a jersey that is not only comfortable and modern for players, but also evokes sweet memories of Aremania,” said Arema FC General Manager Yusrinal Fitriandi, during the official unveiling in Malang City, Monday.

Home kit inspired by Copa Dji Sam Soe glory

The home jersey remains dominantly blue, complemented with yellow accents on the collar, shoulders, and shorts — a deliberate nod to Arema’s 2005/2006 Copa Dji Sam Soe triumph.

“The color combination was inspired by the fighting spirit of the squad at that time — known for being persistent, united, and relentless,” said Yusrinal, referencing one of Arema’s proudest seasons.

The design aims to ignite similar determination and team unity among today’s players, while giving fans a visual reminder of the club’s winning tradition.

Away kit pays tribute to Rodrigo Araya era

Meanwhile, the away kit—dubbed the “combat uniform”—features a white base with blue accents on the collar, shoulders, and sleeves. Its retro-styled look draws inspiration from the 1999/2000 season, particularly during the era of iconic Chilean midfielder Rodrigo Araya.

“The design reflects the elegance, creativity, and surprise elements of Arema’s game during that time,” said Yusrinal.

“It’s a tribute to the tactical and stylish identity that marked Arema’s rise on the national stage.”

Symbol of renewed ambition

Arema FC hopes the newly launched kits will not only energize its players and supporters but also symbolize a fresh spirit for the club as it looks to compete for top honors again in the upcoming season.

“This launch also marks Singo Edan’s renewed determination to achieve greatness, by embedding powerful historical values in every design detail,” Yusrinal concluded.

As the 2025/26 Liga 1 season approaches, Arema’s latest uniforms are more than just kits — they’re a wearable reflection of passion, identity, and the unbreakable bond between club and community.
