An extraordinary show of support and dedication came from Ardi, a passionate fan of the Indonesian national team, who rode a motorcycle for 16 hours from Palembang to Jakarta just to watch his country play.

A Long Road to Support the Garuda Squad

The journey was made to witness the 2026 World Cup Qualification – Asian Zone Third Round Group C match between Indonesia and China at the iconic Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK).

“I departed last night from Palembang. The journey took 16 hours and I was alone,” said Ardi, when interviewed at GBK.
