Arda Guler signals Real Madrid exit despite Xabi Alonso’s trust

According to Yahoo Sport, Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler has expressed positive feelings towards new coach Xabi Alonso, who replaced Carlo Ancelotti.

The 20-year-old player admits feeling pleased with Alonso’s increased trust — particularly the opportunity to play in his preferred midfield position.

“I feel more important because he always talks to me,” Guler revealed.

“In the first match, I played for 45 minutes, so everything looks better. He sees me as a midfielder and that decision is better for me,” he added.

Despite good relations with the new coach, the former Fenerbahce player — surprisingly hasn’t ruled out the possibility of leaving Santiago Bernabeu.
