Arai Agaska — Yamaha Racing Indonesia rider — will begin his new journey in the R3 BLU CRU World Cup 2025 this weekend at Portimao Circuit, Portugal.

During pre-season testing at Misano Circuit two weeks ago, Agaska demonstrated great potential, securing the fourth-best lap time among 19 participants—an achievement that highlights his readiness for global competition against riders from 10 countries.

Despite never racing at Portimao, Agaska has prepared through video game simulations and input from his teammate — Aldi Satya Mahendra — who is familiar with the circuit’s characteristics.

“I can’t wait to experience the adrenaline-pumping Portimao Circuit. It feels exciting to compete in a championship at a higher level than my previous experience,” stated Agaska.

“I will strive to deliver optimal performance using the R3, with the right bike setup for the race. Hopefully, I can score good points in the first round as a promising start in this competition.”

Agaska’s strong pre-season form and determination mark him as a rider to watch in the 2025 R3 BLU CRU World Cup, as he aims for a successful debut in Portugal.
