Apriyani to Partner Febi Setianingrum at Taipei Open

According to BolaSport.com, Apriyani Rahayu will form a new partnership with Febi Setianingrum, with the duo set to compete at the Taipei Open and Thailand Open later this month.

After three years of teaming up with Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, this change follows Fadia’s new focus — pairing with Lanny Tria Mayasari in women’s doubles and with Dejan Ferdinansyah in mixed doubles.

“Partnering with Febi was the coach’s decision. It’s not like Apri got to choose who she wanted. This came from match evaluations,” said Apriyani, speaking at the Cipayung national training center.

Apriyani Rahayu welcomed the new challenge of working with a teammate six years her junior.

“I’m happy to start something new. It’s a struggle, but also exciting because it’s a challenge for myself. I know Febi’s quality and I think we can match well,” said the 27-year-old Olympic gold medalist.
