Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum Defeat Taiwanese Pair

Referring to Bolasport.com, Indonesian women’s doubles pair Apriyani Rahayu and Febi Setianingrum achieved a remarkable victory in the round of 32 at the Indonesia Open 2025, held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

The pair, ranked 125th in the world, surprised many by defeating Taiwanese duo Chang Ching Hui/Yang Ching Tun, ranked 18th, with a score of 21-16, 24-22.

In the match, Apriyani/Febi showed dominance from the start — taking a five-point lead from 6-1 to 7-2. Although the Taiwanese pair narrowed the gap to 4-7, hard smashes from Febi maintained Indonesia’s advantage.

Aggressive play and sharp smashes from Febi helped the Indonesian duo maintain a five-point lead until the first interval.
