Anthony Sinisuka Ginting Still in Recovery After Injury

According to Antara, Indonesian men’s singles badminton player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, who has been absent for about four months due to cartilage injury and right shoulder muscle inflammation, is still in the recovery process.

The Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist, who last competed at the Malaysia Open in January, has confirmed that he will miss the upcoming Indonesia Open.

“The progress is quite good. But since I’m not yet used to full training, there’s still some discomfort though not pain,” said Ginting.

The national athlete still needs about two months of rehabilitation — targeting to return to court in July after completing a total six-month recovery period.
