Anthony Ginting ready to return at Japan Open 2025

The BWF World Tour series will resume in July 2025 with two prestigious events — Japan Open 2025 (Super 750) and China Open 2025 (Super 1000).

This tournament will be a special moment for Indonesian singles player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting — who plans to return to the court after a long absence due to injury.

“If it’s safe, I’ll play him in Japan Open. At worst, we’ll postpone to Macau Open. We can test things there too, since Ginting hasn’t competed for quite a while,” stated PBSI men’s singles coach, Indra Wijaya.

“He needs to recover his feeling too,” Indra added.

Unlike previous years, China Open which usually takes place in September — has been moved to July, adding to the competition intensity in mid-2025.
