Andre Onana suffers hamstring injury ahead of Man United pre-season tour

Andre Onana has encountered an injury setback ahead of Manchester United’s pre-season tour to the United States. The Cameroonian goalkeeper is forced to stay off the pitch after sustaining a hamstring injury during training.

According to BBC, Onana’s injury is expected to require a recovery period of six to eight weeks. Nevertheless, the Red Devils’ first-choice keeper will still join the team on their journey to the United States.

Manchester United is scheduled to play three Premier League Summer Series matches at the end of July — this comes as part of their pre-season schedule following the team’s previous tour to Asia in May.
