Ancelotti Rumored to Be Near Brazil National Team

Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly set to receive a salary equal to his current pay at Real Madrid should he take over the Brazil national football team. Rumors of the Italian coach’s move have intensified following a series of poor results for Los Blancos in recent weeks.

Despite securing the UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup this season, Real Madrid’s performance in LaLiga has significantly declined — falling far behind rivals Barcelona.

The situation worsened with two consecutive defeats in El Clasico, both in La Liga and the Copa del Rey. In the past ten days, Real Madrid has also been knocked out of the Champions League and failed in the Copa del Rey final.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has dismissed Dorival Junior after a heavy 1–4 defeat to the Argentina national football team in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers last month.
