Ana/Tiwi show fierce resistance at Japan Open 2025

Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi displayed heroic effort against seventh-seeded South Koreans Kim Hye-jeong/Kong Hee-yong in Japan Open 2025 second round.

Playing at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, the pair commonly known as Ana/Tiwi — forced the match into three intense games lasting 75 minutes.

In the first game, despite trailing 12-17 after the interval — Ana/Tiwi managed to catch up by scoring five consecutive points to level the score.

Entering the deciding game, several mistakes in the front court area and unforced errors by the Indonesian pair — led them to concede victory to the South Korean representatives.
