Ana/Tiwi Defeat Chinese Pair at Malaysia Masters 2025

Indonesian women’s doubles shuttlers Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma and Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, better known as Ana/Tiwi, have successfully secured a spot in the second round of the Malaysia Masters 2025 after defeating a tough Chinese duo.

Victory Over Li Wen Mei/Wang Yi Duo

The match took place at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, where Ana/Tiwi faced the Chinese pair Li Wen Mei/Wang Yi Duo in an intense encounter that lasted 74 minutes.

Strong Start and Consistent Dominance

Ana/Tiwi came out strong in the first game, quickly establishing a 6–2 lead and extending it to 7–2. Although the Chinese pair reduced the deficit to 4–7, the Indonesians held their ground and led 11–6 at the interval.

After the break, Ana/Tiwi showcased greater dominance, pulling ahead to 14–6. Despite Li/Wang’s attempt to rally and cut the lead to 10–15, the Indonesian pair maintained their composure and secured the win.
