Indonesian mixed doubles pair Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah had to acknowledge the superiority of South Korean representatives Wang Chang/Jeong Na-eun in the round of 16 of China Open 2025 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou.

The Indonesian national team’s promising duo — showed early dominance by winning the first game 21-12, but surrendered in the next two games with scores of 13-21 and 19-21.

The battle was intense with both pairs displaying clever shot placement. Amri Syahnawi — not only relied on powerful smashes but also skillfully covered front court gaps when Nita was drawn to the back.

Nita Violina Marwah managed to match Jeong Na-eun‘s play — the Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist with her former partner Kim Won-ho, but their first game advantage wasn’t enough to take them to the next round.
