According to Bolasport.com, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah had to end their journey at the 2025 Asian Championships after being defeated by Hong Kong pair — Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium, China.

The straight-games defeat marked the end of Indonesia’s mixed doubles campaign — following the advancement of Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari and Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu to the next round.

Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet, who recently reunited after parting ways at the 2024 BWF World Tour Finals — showed their dominance from the start of the match. The former world number two pair proved their chemistry remained intact.

This defeat came as a surprise considering Amri/Nita had previously beaten Tang Chun Man, who was then partnered with Ng Tsz Yau, in the first round of Thailand Masters 2025 with scores of 21-16, 13-21, 21-16.
