Alter Ego Delwyns Doubts MPL ID Season 15 Playoff Prospects

Despite securing a playoff spot in MPL ID Season 15, Alter Ego CEO Delwyn “Delwyns” Sukamto has voiced sharp criticism of his team’s recent performance.

While the team impressively avoided elimination in the regular season, finishing 5th, their final match against Onic ID in Week 9 exposed glaring weaknesses. Alter Ego collapsed decisively, losing in an average of just 11 minutes per game and offering little to no resistance.

This disappointing outcome has frustrated fans and Delwyns himself, especially after the team showed promising progress in the second half of the season. During a recent livestream, Delwyns expressed skepticism about their playoff chances unless immediate improvements are made.

“If Alter Ego plays like this tomorrow, they’ll go home on the very first day of playoffs. Let’s be real!” he stated bluntly.

His concerns are justified as Alter Ego will face a tough first-round playoff matchup against Bigetron, a team currently in strong form. The Red Robot has been known for utilizing more aggressive tactics in playoffs compared to their regular-season approach, posing a significant challenge.

Even if Alter Ego overcomes Bigetron, they would advance to face the Indonesian King, RRQ Hoshi, in the Upper Bracket Semifinal. Given the stark contrast in current form between the two teams, expectations for Alter Ego to go through RRQ Hoshi without major changes seem very unrealistic.
