Aliff Sor Dechapan moves closer to ONE Championship title shot after Bangkok victory

Iman Aliff Rakib, fighting under the ring name Aliff Sor Dechapan — secured a crucial victory over Elmehdi El Jamari at ONE Fight Night 32 in Lumpinee Stadium, Bangkok.

The 22-year-old Malaysian fighter now stands in a strong position to challenge Prajanchai PK Saenchai for the strawweight Muay Thai title — potentially surpassing Jonathan di Bella, the current interim strawweight kickboxing champion.

Aliff, who chose his ring name to honor his training camp, has accumulated four consecutive victories — including a spectacular 97-second KO of Zakaria El Jamari in his previous bout.

“I’m happy to win because I fell sick during fight week. I had to change my strategy to win on points. The initial plan was to KO him but due to my condition not being optimal, the team gave a different plan,” stated Aliff.
