Alex Rins Expresses Concerns About Yamaha Motorcycle Ahead of Dutch MotoGP

Alex Rins of Monster Energy Yamaha has revealed serious concerns regarding the YZR-M1 motorcycle’s performance — a condition that makes it difficult for riders to complete races optimally.

Ahead of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit, this issue becomes increasingly worrying — considering this track should be Yamaha’s favorite venue with their record of 11 historic victories.

Yamaha’s dominance at the “Cathedral of Speed” has been fading over the past three seasons — with Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati team consistently claiming the top position.

In the recent Italian MotoGP, Rins only managed to finish 15th — trailing Marc Marquez’s Ducati Lenovo by 25 seconds, showing a performance gap of more than one second per lap.
