Alex Marquez Cautious of Marc’s Form Before British GP

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing has admitted he must be cautious of his older brother Marc Marquez, ahead of the 2025 British MotoGP round at Silverstone Circuit.

Marc Marquez, now riding for the factory Ducati team, took the lead in the 2025 MotoGP standings after securing a double victory — sprint race and main race — at the French GP two weeks ago. He now leads with 171 points, 22 points ahead of Alex, who sits in second place.

Although he enjoys the layout of Silverstone, Alex Marquez remains wary of the fierce competition in this season’s seventh round. Marc’s high confidence, eight world titles, and his command over the Ducati Desmosedici GP25 make him a major threat in the race for the title.
