Alex Marquez shows surprising performance with old Ducati in MotoGP 2025

Alex Marquez from Gresini Racing has become the main spotlight in MotoGP 2025 — the rider has managed to show surprising performance with last year’s Ducati Desmosedici GP model.

The team led by Nadia Padovani has proven its capabilities in the first eight rounds this season — Alex Marquez has collected five podiums with one victory in the main races.

The 29-year-old rider has also dominated sprint races — recording seven second-place finishes and one victory at Silverstone Circuit. Most of his podium results were achieved after finishing behind his brother, Marc Marquez from the Ducati factory team.
