Alex Marquez shows impressive form in Italian MotoGP practice

According to Gresini’s official website, Alex Marquez demonstrated impressive performance by finishing fourth in the 2025 Italian MotoGP practice session at Mugello Circuit, Tuscany.

The Gresini Racing rider — who won the 2019 Moto2 world championship — managed to record competitive times during yesterday’s practice session.

“This has been a very positive day. I took a more cautious approach in the morning session because I’m not too fond of the soft front tire,” stated Alex Marquez.

“And it felt too hot,” he added regarding the tire compound evaluation.

With this result, Marc Marquez’s younger brother — who will participate in today’s qualifying session — emerges as one of the strong contenders for pole position in the ninth round of 2025 MotoGP.
