Alex Marquez returns without targets for German MotoGP after injury

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing — who recently recovered from left hand fracture surgery — is taking a realistic approach to his upcoming appearance at the 2025 German MotoGP.

Before his injury, the 29-year-old Spanish rider showed impressive performance — securing his first premier class victory at Spanish MotoGP and one Sprint win at British MotoGP.

This season his consistency is proven with five second-place podiums in main races and nine runner-up finishes in Sprint Races — but injury forces him to take cautious steps for the Sachsenring race.

“This is a weekend without targets. You have to stay calm, try to do everything 100 percent, and from there practice by practice,” stated Marquez.
