Alex Marquez remains calm despite 40-point gap in MotoGP standings

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing demonstrated impressive performance at the Italian GP — securing second place in both sprint and Grand Prix races at Mugello Circuit.

The 29-year-old rider finished behind his brother, Marc Marquez from Ducati team — who managed to sweep victories in both racing sessions.

With these results, Alex maintains second position in standings with 230 points — trailing 40 points behind Marc who strengthens his lead in 2025 MotoGP championship.

“We shouldn’t forget that this is Marquez, he’s an eight-time world champion, and it’s not easy to beat him,” stated the teammate of Fermin Aldeguer.
