Alex Marquez Fastest in Spanish GP Free Practice

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing recorded the fastest time in the first free practice session of the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez Circuit, as reported by Bolasport.com.

Under clear weather conditions, Alex Marquez clocked 1 minute 36.831 seconds — beating the time of his older brother, Marc Marquez, from Ducati Lenovo, who finished second.

Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha rounded out the top three. The session began with Marc Marquez returning to the pit after completing only one initial lap.

In the first 10 minutes, Alex Marquez had already shown dominance by recording 1 minute 37.686 seconds — close to last year’s best lap record held by Francesco Bagnaia at 1 minute 37.449 seconds.
