Alex Marquez confirms no strategy sharing with Marc at Dutch MotoGP

Alex Marquez of Gresini Racing — currently second in standings with 230 points — confirms he won’t share strategies with his brother Marc Marquez ahead of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit.

The 2019 Moto2 world champion has been this season’s surprise — consistently chasing his brother in standings with a lower-spec motorcycle and often outperforming Francesco Bagnaia.

Regarding the tight championship battle with his brother who leads by 40 points, the 29-year-old rider emphasizes — strategy sharing isn’t common in MotoGP unlike Formula 1.

“There’s no such thing as sharing strategies between me and Marc or any other rider on track,” Alex stated in response to media questions.
