Alecks Eager for G2 Esports Rematch at Masters Toronto Playoffs

Paper Rex head coach Alexandre “alecks” Sallé recently said that he’s looking forward to their playoff match against G2 Esports at Masters Toronto tomorrow night (June 13).

Speaking in a post-match interview after their 2-1 win over Team Liquid earlier today, alecks said his team is in good spirits and has practiced specific tactics to counter potential strategies from opponents.

The French coach added that they aren’t overthinking the situation and are focused on giving their best against G2 tomorrow. He even admitted he’s eager for the rematch to settle the score from last season.

“To be honest, we did not think about it. We’re just trying to get our asses to playoff. I think it’s good that they (G2 Esports) picked us because we can have a rematch of the Shanghai.

We have one day to prepare. I think we need to review a little bit and hopefully it will be a banger.”

PRX fans are certainly hoping for a remontada, especially those who watched the Masters Shanghai 2024. Back then, PRX confidently picked G2 Esports as their opponent and suffered a stunning defeat in the quarterfinal despite early game advantages.
