Aldi Satya Mahendra Makes History at World Supersport Czech Republic

Indonesian motorcycle racer, Aldi Satya Mahendra, delivered a historic performance at the 2025 World Supersport Championship held at Autodrom Most, Czech Republic. Representing the Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team, Aldi made headlines after securing the best-ever finish for an Indonesian rider in the prestigious series.

P5 Finish From P11: A New Benchmark for Indonesia

In the first race of the fifth round, Aldi started from 11th position on the grid and powered his way to a remarkable fifth-place finish. This outstanding result marks the first time an Indonesian rider has ever finished in the top five in World Supersport history.

His determination, strategic riding, and consistent pace throughout the race helped him overcome more seasoned international competitors — establishing his name among the elite.

Fighting Spirit in Race Two

In the second race, the 18-year-old rider from Yogyakarta once again showcased his competitive spirit. Aldi briefly challenged for a podium position in third place, but ultimately crossed the finish line in seventh — still a strong result considering the intense competition.

Confidence Growing in World-Class Field

With support from Yamaha Racing Indonesia, Aldi’s mental toughness has become a defining asset. His back-to-back top-10 finishes have moved him closer to the top 10 overall in the current World Supersport standings — a key goal for the 2025 season.

Aldi’s progress signals a new era for Indonesian motorsport talent on the world stage.
