Alberttt Reflects on Evos’ MPL ID Season 15 Woes

Following a disappointing run with Evos, popular jungler Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar explained the reasons behind the team’s decline, which led to their failure to qualify for the playoffs in MPL ID Season 15.

Evos ended the season with a 7-9 record, landing them in seventh place—the elimination zone. Despite securing two wins in the final week, it wasn’t enough to overtake their closest rivals in fifth and sixth place.

This outcome surprised many fans, especially after Evos’ strong early-season performance, which saw them in the top three before the mid-season break. Some fans criticized the players for struggling to adapt to opponents’ strategies.

Addressing these concerns, Alberttt—a key player for Evos this season—admitted the team’s chemistry hadn’t fully clicked, partly due to his own debut with the squad. The 21-year-old emphasized that rebuilding synergy takes time.

“This is my first season with Evos, so everything still feels new. It’s been challenging for us as a team, but we’ll regroup and come back stronger next season,” he said during the MPL ID post-match interview.

Though Evos was clearly struggling, Alberttt showcased remarkable dedication and mechanical skill, earning him the Regular Season MVP award. His performances even drew praise from fellow professionals, including former Onic ID teammate Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol.

Looking ahead, Evos plans to rebuild their roster for the next season, with Alberttt expected to remain the cornerstone of their MPL campaign. The organization aims to strengthen its lineup to support him and boost the team’s competitive firepower.
