Al Hilal brings Saudi national team players to 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

Al Hilal — the 2021 AFC Champions League winner — is bringing several Saudi national team players to the Round of 16 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

This participation serves as crucial preparation for Saudi national team players — who will compete in the fourth round of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers this coming October.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar were selected to host the fourth round qualifiers following AFC’s appointment. Both countries will host two groups consisting of:

• United Arab Emirates
• Oman
• Iraq
• Indonesia

As part of their preparation, the Saudi national team under Herve Renard is also participating in the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup as an invited team from North America.
