Popular Filipino former pro player and streamer Naser “Akosi Dogie” Mollazehi, who recently surprised fans with a major Honor of Kings promotion in the Philippines, has announced plans to develop talent for the game.

In a Facebook post, Dogie stated his intention to recruit the Philippines’ top players and form a solid HoK team soon. He encouraged serious players to contact him and tell their friends to recommend hot prospects that are ready to jump in.

This news came as a surprise to the Filipino mobile gaming community, who are familiar with Dogie’s background in MLBB. He is well-known for identifying young MLBB talent and providing insightful analysis. Among his notable discoveries are Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera (formerly of TNC Pro), Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson (Team Falcons PH), and Alston “Sanji” Pabico (Team Liquid PH).

During his active involvement in the MLBB esports scene, Dogie often expressed a desire to build his own “Dream Team” from his top prospects to compete locally. However, it now appears that he will pursue this ambition in HoK—a game that initially struggled to gain traction in the Philippines.

Lately, a bunch of players Dogie noticed in MLBB have switched over too. Besides Yawi, veterans like Renejay “Renejay” Barcase and John “H2wo” Salonga have also jumped on the HoK bandwagon, which has got fans of both games talking.

This trend looks like it’s going to keep growing this year, giving HoK a real shot at shaking up the SEA mobile esports scene. For Dogie, if this promotion takes off, it could be his chance to finally put together that dream team he’s been after.
