Ahead of North Korea clash, Nova Arianto discusses opponents’ different characteristics

According to AFC, Indonesia U-17 national team coach Nova Arianto spoke ahead of the quarter-final match against North Korea at King Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium — the game scheduled for tonight at 21:00 WIB.

The Young Garuda team will face a tough challenge in the semifinals if they manage to defeat North Korea — a team that has shown solid performance throughout the tournament.

“All our opponents show different characteristics. Afghanistan’s game is different from Yemen and Yemen from Republic of Korea,” stated Nova Arianto.

“And although the results sometimes aren’t what I wanted, I’m grateful that my players try to perform optimally,” he added.

By reaching the quarter-finals, Indonesia U-17 national team has secured their ticket to the U-17 World Cup 2025.
