Ahead of the Liga 1 match against Bali United, Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak emphasized the importance of substitute players’ roles — following less-than-satisfactory results in their previous match.

Maung Bandung will host Bali United in the continuation of Liga 1 2024/2025 week 29 at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium this coming Friday. Hodak expects the replacement players to demonstrate quality equal to the regular starters.

This demand comes after Persib only managed a 2-2 draw against Borneo FC last week — when the team had to play without 11 key players. The players’ absences were due to:

  • Yellow card accumulation for Marc Anthony Klok and Mohammad Edo Febriansah
  • Several other players in injury recovery process
