Persib Bandung receives a boost ahead of their Liga 1 2024-2025 week 29 match against Bali United, as reported by Persib’s official website.

Gervane Kastaneer — the Curaçao national team player — has rejoined team training sessions at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium this Monday, following his injury absence.

The Rotterdam-born forward has completed a three-week recovery period in the Netherlands, taking advantage of the international break and Eid al-Fitr holiday.

“The coach gave me the opportunity to undergo recovery in the Netherlands because we had free time during the international break,” stated Kastaneer.

“So, I decided to return home to train daily with my official physiotherapist.”

Kastaneer’s return provides an additional option for Persib—as they prepare to face Bali United at GBLA Stadium this coming Friday.

With only a few matches left in the regular season, Persib Bandung—is looking to secure crucial points to maintain their position in the top tier of the league standings, and Kastaneer’s comeback adds valuable depth to the squad.
