After Loss to Indonesia U-23, Philippines Coach Praises Young Garuda’s Quality

According to Bolasport.com, Philippines U-23 coach Garrath James McPherson expressed his appreciation for Indonesia U-23 national team after their match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

Indonesia U-23 secured a 1-0 victory over Philippines through a goal resulting from Rosquillo’s mistake in anticipating Robi Darwis‘s long throw in the 23rd minute.

“Indonesia has quality players and good coaches — this is inseparable from the large investment given to their squad,” said McPherson.

The Philippines coach also highlighted the strength of Malaysia U-23 national team — which will be Indonesia’s upcoming opponent at SUGBK.
