After beating Thailand, Bahrain ready to face Indonesia in AVC Nations Cup

The Bahrain national volleyball team — who just defeated Thailand 3-1 (25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22) at Isa bin Rashid, Manama — now leads Group A of the 2025 AVC Nations Cup with three points.

Naser Anan’s squad showed impressive performance — despite losing the second set against Park Ki-won’s team.

With the tournament format qualifying two teams from each three-team group, Bahrain has practically secured a spot in the quarter-finals.

The host team now has one day of rest — before facing Rivan Nurmulki and the Indonesian national team in their final group stage match.
