AFC Moves World Cup 2026 Qualification Draw to Kuala Lumpur

According to AFC’s announcement, the World Cup 2026 Qualification Round 4 draw – previously planned for Osaka – will take place in Kuala Lumpur.

“The World Cup 2026 Asian zone qualification, Road to 26 play-off will commence (draw) in Kuala Lumpur on July 17, 2025,” stated AFC.

“The draw will be held at Hyatt Place, Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil,” AFC added in their announcement.

Six teams competing in the fourth round include:

• Indonesia National Team
• Saudi Arabia
• Qatar
• Iraq
• United Arab Emirates
• Oman
