AEK Athens Ready to Sign Dean James from Go Ahead Eagles

According to Sport 24, AEK Athens has shown serious interest in signing Indonesian national team left-back Dean James from Go Ahead Eagles.

The 25-year-old player is currently enjoying his holiday after representing Indonesia in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers — but his future at Go Ahead Eagles has caught Greek media attention.

“AEK Athens is reportedly serious about signing Dean James from Go Ahead Eagles,” Sport 24 writes.

“AEK is reported to make a 2 million euro offer,” it adds.

Although Dean James just extended his contract with Go Ahead Eagles until 2028 this past January — the Greek club is ready to acquire the Indonesian player for a transfer fee of around 2 million euros.
