Adrian Wibowo makes Club World Cup debut with LA FC

Adrian Wibowo — an Indonesian heritage player representing Los Angeles FC — is experiencing the atmosphere of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

The LA FC academy product who was promoted to the first team about nine months ago is placed in Group D alongside Flamengo, Chelsea, and Esperance de Tunis.

In their opening match held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, two days ago — LA FC had to acknowledge Chelsea’s superiority with a 0-2 score.

Chelsea’s winning goals were scored by Neto in the 34th minute and Enzo Fernandez in the 79th minute.
