Adnan/Indah Climb 11 Spots After Thailand Open Heroics

Based on the latest BWF rankings released today, Indonesian mixed doubles pair Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil made a significant leap — climbing 11 places to world No. 32.

Their rise in the rankings follows a standout performance at the Thailand Open 2025, a BWF Super 500 event, where they pulled off a major upset against the top-seeded Chinese pair Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.

“We managed to beat Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin with a score of 22-20, 22-20,” said Adnan Maulana, reflecting on their crucial victory.

Before bowing out in the next round, Adnan/Indah also defeated fellow Indonesians Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata in the second round — solidifying their presence as a rising threat in elite-level tournaments.
