Adnan/Indah Climb 11 Spots after Defeating World’s Top Seed

According to the latest BWF ranking update, Indonesia’s mixed doubles pair, Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil, made a notable leap in the world standings, rising 11 spots to reach rank 32 globally.

Their surge in the rankings comes after a strong showing at the Thailand Open 2025, a BWF Super 500 tournament held last week.


Upset Victory Over Top Chinese Pair

A highlight of their run was a stunning win over the world’s top-seeded Chinese pair.

“We managed to defeat Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin with scores of 22-20, 22-20,” said Adnan Maulana after the match.


Defeated Fellow Indonesians in Round 2

Earlier in the competition, Adnan/Indah also overcame fellow Indonesians Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata in the second round, before their campaign came to an end in the following phase.
