Adi Touts MPL Indonesia Strength Ahead of MSC x EWC 2025

Onic ID coach Adi “Adi” Asyauri recently shared his thoughts on Indonesia’s prospects at the upcoming MSC x EWC 2025 tournament in Saudi Arabia.

Following the conclusion of MPL ID Season 15, Onic ID and rivals RRQ Hoshi are set to represent MPL ID for the global stage. And their Royal Derby rivalry is sure to electrify the international stage, always drawing millions of viewers.

Both teams enter this season with strong stats and will be major challengers for other competitors. However, they must also prepare for their biggest test: rivals from the MPL Philippines, represented by Team Liquid PH and Onic PH.

In regard to this classic rivalry, Adi agreed that the Philippines remains a formidable opponent but expressed confidence in his team’s current form. He also believes his former team, RRQ, can showcase their quality as fellow “Indo Pride” representatives.

The 32-year-old coach also noted that the Yellow Porcupines have been regularly training with their sister team in the Philippines  and feels the skill gap between them is now much smaller than last season.

As the current record holders for most MSC titles, Onic ID is determined to reclaim the throne this season after missing out in 2024.
